Neg Scanning Problems

I'm using an Epson 3200 and Silverfast Ai 6.

Tonight I wanted to scan some b&w negs. Opened PS and the Silverfast interface. In the General tab, selected Transparency and then Negative. The NegaFix toolbox came up but there were no films to select in the dropdown boxes. Did a Prescan and the screen was black. Switched the film type to Positive, redid the Prescan and the images showed up, albeit in reversed image.

This has never happened before as I've scanned numerous negs in the past. Am I looking at a re-install of the software? When I opened the interface tonight, I was asked for my registration details, which had previously been input.

Please download the current version of SilverFast. Deinstall the old version, and install the new Version. Best is, that you also discard all prefs files in SilverFast/Prefs, to get rid of damaged settings.

Thanks. I did manage to get a password and did download the latest version last night. Will install it this evening. Hopefully this will resolve the problem.
