IT8 Install

Just unpacked and installed 6.1.0.r5 and then upgraded on-line to r7. Also, have a second feature CD (I ordered both SilverFast Ai and IT8 calibration software), but there is no software on it, only documentation. Get no IT8 icon in Photo Shop 7 SilverFast import dialog , so can't do calibration using supplied reflective target. Seems to scan using my Epson 2450, but IT8 capability is lacking.

Dear Epson SF6.

The IT8 calibration for your scanner is optional. You will need to activate the IT8 calibration through an additional serial number which came with the Feature-CD and this will unlock the IT8 calibration by adding the desired button to the prescan window.

As I already said in my previous e-mail, there must be some confusion in your database regarding the EpsonSF6 username. I see many questions
originated by EpsonSF6 in this forum, nevertheless I am not the author. Could you please rectify this mistake?
