IT8 Feature Activation

Just downloaded and installed (after uninstalling old version) 6.2.1r3 for an Epson 3200 and I cannot see where to activate the IT8 calibration feature.

The Feature CD's PDF file says to

click on 'i'
click on 'info'
click on 'upgrade'
delete old serial number ...

These steps lead to a largely blank screen in my browser. Please tell me how to do this activation.

Dear albqphotog,

with your feature CD you should have recieved a new serial also.
At the point where you delete the old serial, put your new IT8 number in.

Keep the feature CD in drive - while you serialize.

The IT8 button will appear.

Thanks but I have two serial numbers; the problem is that I do not know where to put the feature number.

Besides, why is that necessary after upgrading? Why can't the upgrade process detect the features already activated?

Dear albqphotog,

the IT8 option depends on your license to use it.

So the serial which has already been entered for the license without IT8 has to be overwritten.

And the original CD is a safety request.

it is almost the way you described before...

you press the "i" - "credits" - "upgrade" and overwrite the old number with the new one.
