Issues with Epson 1650 and SE v5.5.2

Hi,

Two questions in regard to this issue:

1) Half page preview/scan
My new Epson identifies as a GT8200 (this is ok, read about this in prev. message), but only makes a halfpage preview and subsequent scan; the preview window is "Landscape". Thus I am only able to scan the upperpart of a A4 page

2) Colour conversion 48->24
Is it possible to aquire a full 16-bit per channel scan? Upgrade to Ai perhaps?

Looking forward to a solution, as I am stuck with Epson's TWAIN driver (argh!!)

SilverFast SE 5.5.2 and Epson Perfection 1650

1. It seems that you have chosen the zoom instead of the nomal overview preview. The Zoom will always scale the preview to max. size into the remaining space of the monitor.

2. 16/48 bit output (now also fully colour-corrected) is only available in SilverFast Ai 5.5.2. Upgrading from SE to Ai will give you the full capabilities with raw data output and full colour mangement, etc. Please try the Ai 5.5.2 demo.

1. We can check the problem, if you send us the preference files from SilverFast. You find them in the same folder, where the SilverFast plugin resides (subfolder SilverFast/Prefs). Please send them to "eric.flyvbjerg@silverfast.com"

2. Full 16 bit per channel is supported by Ai vesrions only.
