High Resolution Scan Problem - straight black file
I'm using Silverfast AI Studio with my Epson V700 scanner to scan a 6x6 b&w negative at 12800 dpi. I have MultiExposure set to 2 and I am scanning to a 32 bit HDRi Greyscale Tiff. The scan takes (expected) a very long time, but when the wait is over, I have a 3 Gb Tiff that is straight black, no information at all. Can anyone explain what is happening?

Re: High Resolution Scan Problem - straight black file
Dear customer,
SilverFast can only create images up to 2gig Size.
There should be a warning about this when you select values which would create a larger image.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
