ERROR MESSAGE AI6.2

i CANT SCAN WITH THE PROGRAM THAT I HAVE BEEN USING FOR 11 MONTHS NOW EVERY TIME I TRY TO PRESCAN A MESSAGE COMES UP SAYING , "CANT SCAN", "(CLEAR WINDOW)"
ALSO THE ONE TIME THAT I HAD A PRESCAN IN THE WINDOW EVERY TIME I HIT SCAN EVERYTHING WOULD CLOSE ON THE SCREEN..
iVE TRYED FOR 3 HR AND TRYED EVERY THING..i GOT THE PRGRAM WITH MY SCANNER EPSON4870 1 YR AGO ,RUNNING XP
