Error Launching SF 8 with Epson V550 on Yosemite

Hello,

I am trying to evaluate the demo version of the Silverfast 8 with Epson V550 under Yosemite. I have installed all lasted drivers and OS X updates, yet when I launch Silverfast, I get the error message: "There was a problem starting your scanner. Please make sur your drivers are installed correctly. Exiting now...".

Dear David,

please make sure, that you installed the full EPSON scan utility drivers.
The simpler ICA driver is not sufficient.

Also make sure that you start SilverFast in 32 Bit mode.
The drivers for this scanner unfortunately are not available in 64 bit.
