Is the SilverFast AI bundled with the Epson V750 the most current version or must I purchase an upgrade to 6.6?
Does it make economic sense to purchase the V700 and separately purchase both an upgrade to SilverFast AI 6.6 and to the current version of the other software not included with the V700 but bundled with the V750?
Are there other factors to consider regarding the purchase of the V700 versus the V750 other than the fluid mount?

Dear geleon3,
That is hard to say because we do not make the bundles, besides it is possible that a store has a scanner for three years in its warehouse and you get a scanner with an old version of SilverFast.
Usually Epson packs the latest version of the software with his scanners. Make sure you get a bundle with at least SilverFast Ai 6.5 or higher (this gives you access to free updates to our latest version).
I do not think it makes sense, you get more for 150 bucks difference. It is like a car, if you buy the whole car, then you pay one price. If you buy the parts to put the car together you end up paying ten times the price of the car.
I would definitely go for the V750
Not really, just the bundle and the fluid mount
Cheers
