Epson Perfection 4990 Photo and no Multi-exposure

Postby kbaerwald » Thu Dec 28, 2006 3:28 pm

Bought the upgrade for the reason to use multi-exposure. The Epson is on the list of supported scanners but I do not get the multi-exposure button. Scan type is set to 48 bit, Silverfast version 6.5.0r3d. When cycling through the multi-scan button it comes back to multi-scan1 after multi-scan16 - no multi-exposure appearing? Any idea?

I am using Windows XP SP2.

Dear Klaus,

since you are on Windows I am almost positive this is due to a problem that has recently come to our attention. Please try switching your Windows design from the classic look to the regular Windows-XP look (via right click on your desktop).
Our engineers are working on this issue and we will publish a free update asap. Until then this workaround will work.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Best,

JAN
