Epson Perfection 1650 freezes System OS 9.2

Hi @ all!
Maybe someone of you has an answer for me?!

I have a Epson Perfection 1650 Photo and downloaded the SilverFast AI 6.0 Demo to convince my boss to buy it ; ).

The Problem is, when i want to scan now with Photoshop 7.0, SilverFast starts, i can do all the settings and the prescan, but when i hit the scan button now, the system freezes and "Error 10" appears and i have to restart the system.

I work with a PowerMac G3, 512 MB RAM and enough free diskspace and with System MacOS 9.2.2 !

Maybe it only works with OS X?

Hope, someone of you has an idea.

Sorry - this demo version seems to be broken
But you can download a new version ( higher than release 14 ) very soon. It will work fine and you can enjoy it under Mac 9.2 and 10.**
