Epson Perfection 1200Photo

I have an Epson Perfection 1200U Photo scanner, running on a Dell Pentium III, 576MB memory and Win98SE

SilverFast SE 5.52 (TWAIN version) worked fine. I purchased the 6.0 upgrade and installed first the PS plug-in version, then uninstalled and installed the TWAIN version instead - both PhosoShop and Corel PhotoPaint locked up in searching for the scanner.

Is 6.0 compatible with the Epson Perfection 1200U Photo scanner, or only with the Epson Perfection 1200 without the transparency adapter?

Yes, SilverFast 6 does support this scanner, but on Windows systems you must have the Epson TWAIN software installed in order to enable SilverFast to use the manufacturer's device driver files.
