EPSON 4870 & Silverfast SE

Am I missing something? I've just installed Silverfast SE to use with my recent 4870 and on prescan all I get is a large image of the 35mm film holder....? even if I zoom into a negative the image not viewable - what have I done wrong? is there a setting I am missing, Espon Scan works fine but I wanted to compare.... :roll:

Yes you are missing something simple :wink:

Goto the 'General' Tab and change 'Original' from 'Reflective' to 'Transparency'

That should do it.
