Epson 3200 and Embedded profile CMS

When scanning using 48 bit HDR mode I select the embed profile setting in CMS, the scanner profile is embeded and not the internal, (Adobe RGB 1998) profile. I just updated the driver to the latest version for the Epson 3200 and don't recall this in the past? Is this correct or should it embed the internal profile instead? When using the other scan modes, 48-24 or 48 bit, the internal profile is embeded so it's only in 48bit HDR that this occurs. (I will send a screenshot with the confirmation email of this post.)
