Epson 2450+XP Preview works, Scan doesn't

Hi there,

I was trying out the demo versions of SF AI v6 and have a strange problem.

The Photoshop Plugin version (w/ PS 7) works 100%.

The Twain version (w/ PS 7) seems to function in all reguards, including preview scans. However, it just beeps when the Scan button is clicked upon.

With the exception of hitting the scan button, everything else seems just fine in both versions.

I am using PS7 and XP with a USB2 connection.

Just I cecked the Epson perfection 2450 - USB 2 - WIN XP - Photoshop 7.1 -with SilverFast AI 6.0.1r38
I testet the Photoshop plug-in and the twain version. I could not find the bug you descibed. Prescan and scan worked fine.
If you still have the problem, please send an e- mail to our support together with the SilverFast folder from: Windows\twain 32\ LaserSoft \ SilverFast. Please zip the folder.

I'm having exactly the same problem with the same version of Silverfast. Does anyone know why this is happening?
