Hi all,

does anyone have the Epson 2450 connected using USB 2.0 under WinXP ?
I have tried the USB that is on the motherboard, it is USB1.0 and it takes about 5 minutes for one slide to scan.
Next I installed the USB 2.0 card. I can see in the Device Manager that the scanner is connected to 'USB2.0 Root Hub' but the scanning speed, using the v**s**n, has not changed. I'm going to try the Epson TWAIN next, but I wonder if anyone is using the USB 2.0 and what are the results.

I'm also interested to know if anyone has working FireWire connection with the scanner, under WinXP.

I connected the Epson 2450 with using USB 2.0 anf Fire-Wire under WinXP.
The speed is ok. For my test I used the latest version 5.5.2. Everythink looks
fine.

greetings
