Epson 2400 with Transparency Adapter

I'm planning to use an Epson 2400 scanner with a transparency adapter(Epson part # B813172) so that I can scan 4x5 negatives.

Does Silverfast Ai 6 support this configuration?

Has anyone tried?

I use the Epson 2450. I've heard that the 2400 transparency adapter
is not large enough for 4x5". But I'm not sure.

Otherwise the 2400 should be quite similar.

The results of the 2450 for 4x5 negatives are great.

I used it for B&W negatives. To be honest I got better results with
the Epson Twain driver than with Silverfast Ai. I used 5.5 at that time.
The main problems where the highlights which had no differentiation
with Silverfast.

I upgraded to Ai 6 and invested a lot of time for adjustment of
negative profiles and other parameters. Now I get similar results
as with the EPSON driver (but with much more options for control).
