Epson 1600 Pro question

I am looking into purchasing some new scanning software for my old Epson 1600 Pro scanner. The Silverfast sofware looks excellent, but there seems no option for a SE version of this scanner, only the AI 6 version. Which is a bit out of my price range!
Is there a SE version for the Epson 1600 Pro?
