I just downloaded the latest update. Recalibrated my scanner since I hadn't done it in a while and then wanted to scan some film. Went into the CMS options and am experiencing some problems that I haven't experienced before. Basically I want all CMS options to be turned off. My approach is to scan with no profile applied and then apply the proper scanner profile in PS, then convert to my working space, Adobe RGB.
When trying to change the colour management settings, many of the fields are greyed out and not open to be changed. In particular, the Internal>Internal option is greyed out. When I switch off settings in all the other boxes and click apply, I get the following error,
You've selected the following Color Management settings:
Internal>Internal: Image Color Matching (ICM)
In order to work properly, the following settings are missing:
Internal
The problem is, I've selected nothing in Internal>Internal because the dropdown menu is greyed out. Never had this problem with pre 6.5 versions.
Anyone got a solution?
Thanks.

Dear Bob,
maybe we can try it the other way around:
I will write down what i would do if i wanted to switch off CMS completely, then you could try that and verify if there is a Bug or if you can do so yourself...
-First i would select "NONE" in the Settings "Input->Internal" ( was that the menu you called "Internal->Internal ??? ).
-Then i would still select "Image Colour Matching (ICM)" for the "Internal->Monitor" menu.
-For the "Internal->Output" menu i would use "<RGB<".
-The "Internal" menu should be set to something nice like "Adobe RGB (1998)".
-lastly, uncheck the "Embed ICC profile" setting and all should be set for scanning untouched ( CMS wise ) images.
Of course i wonder why you would want to do so instead of switching on CMS and selecting the right Input Profiles, but maybe i got your intentions wrong.
Could you try this and give feedback ?
