Before buying Epson V700, isrd confirmation needed...

Hi,

I'm about to buy a V700 epson flatbed scanner. SilverFast SE6 is included.

Does this version SE6 of Sivlerfast include the iSRD function ?
I have to scan a lot of kodachrome slides : is the iSRD version in Silverfast SE6, compatible with kodachrome films ?
Will I be able to use iSRD in batch ?

Dear Franççois,

iSRD is included in all current versions of SilverFast 6.6.
Please be aware that it is a transparency feature and not shown in reflective mode.

For Kodachrome scanning you should use at least SilverFast 6.6.2r5.

SilverFast Ai Studio would offer more advanced features like using up to 4 layers with individual masks and correction strength.

as ICE processing is only supported by means of iSRD does this imply one need to buy hdri capable software as well in order to use the iSRD service of Silverfast scanning software?

Dear Attila,

No iSRD is directly included in SilverFast 8.0.
SilverFast HDR (Studio) is not required to use this function.
