I'm relatively new to all this (last 2 months) and I was attempting to scan strips of negatives with Silverfast's batch process and my Epson 1640XL scanner (with the transparency adapter). I think I set it up correctly ( I laboriously selected each frame and set all the parameters for them one-by-one), but only about 30% of the negs were scanned. The rest came up black (underexposed?). I had to resort to using my Kodak 3200 film scanner which was also tedious to use for the cut negative strips but it eventually got the job done.
Any ideas on why Silverfast didn't scan correctly on my flatbed scanner??
Thanks in advance,
Royce
