2450 w/SF6 - Image Size and Resolution Locked

Postby Filmsmith » Sun Sep 15, 2002 3:59 pm

I'm was using FS5.5 Ai as a Photoshop plugin for PS6 and PS 7 on a Mac in OS9. When I set a higher resolution, the output image size percentage and the output size got smaller - regardless of how I set the lock icons, the quality/screen lpi slider or the output dpi.

I tried reinstalling, and every preference I could find, but I could not increase resolution without decreasing output image size. I tried the updater for 5.5 and that didn't help and then upgraded to SF6 and that did not help either.

I noticed in the manual that there is a reference to a "pixel lock" function that is in the HDR and versions other than the plugin version that I use, but the description sounds like it would make the program do exactly what mine is doing by default.

I have followed the manual step by step with no luck. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks,

George Smith

George,

dou you have "Descreening" or "USM & Desreening" selected in the filter popup of the frame panel ? If so, please select "USM" or "None".

Eric.

Thanks Eric. That was just what it needed.
