Is there any difference in the quailty of the raw file conversions between DC Pro Studio 6.4 and 6.5? Also, when are you going to improve the VLT?

DC Pro Studio
I am seeing some "artifacts" in some areas of images converted wih DC Pro Studio 6.4 after sharpening that are not present in the same files processed with other raw file converters. I was wondering if the raw file conversion had changed at all between 6.4 and 6.5. (I am shooting with the Nikon D70 and working on a Mac.)
As for VLT, I have always wanted it to display thumbnails larger. Nearly all of the competing products (Lightroom, Bridge, Bibble, Aperture, Capture One, Nikon Capture), some that sell for much less, offer a better image editing solution. To use DC Pro I have to edit in iView Media or Photo Mechanic, and then transfer files to another folder for processing. The thumbnails are so small, and poor quailty, that it is difficult, and often impossible, to differenciate simialr frames, subjects' expressions, etc.
Thanks for your reply,
Peter

Dear Peter
meanwhile, I had entered your observations about VLT lackings into our internal development database as a feature request, and asked product management to decide on priorisation of a rebuilt of the VLT.
Concerning your issue with sharpening artifacts, I unfortunately find the statements to globally put to enable me to reproduce the inconveniences experienced with e.g. Bibble, or Lightroom.
If you want to have us examined the topic further, please don't hesitate to contact us via https://www.silverfast.com/problemreport/en.html
How to help support staff to help you: https://www.silverfast.com/faq/1058/en.html
After a new ticket had been opened, please send some demonstrative screenshots and notes on setup.
Thank you in anticipation of your kind co-operation.
