Silverfast DCPro to DCproStudio Upgrade - Invalid Number

Postby Tom Wheeler » Sun Oct 10, 2004 6:04 pm

Today (October 10, 2004) I recieved an e-mail notice from Lasersoft Imaging inviting me to upgrade my Silverfast DCPro to DCpro Studio. I purchased the upgrade, and my browser was directed to a site which said their were no installers available for this version. I then navigated back to the home page, to the DCpro Studio page, downloaded the program, and input the serial number that I had been given after my purchase. I cut and pasted the serial number in order to avoid any errors and carefully checked that it was input correctly. When I click on the "Unlock Silverfast" icon, I get the message that this is an invalid serial number.

What gives? I have purchased the program but cannot use it because I was sent an invalid serial number? Can someone at Silverfast please send me a valid serial number for this program that I have already purchased (invoice #VANE83669347.

Thank you.

Dear Mr. Wheeler.

Thanks for the interest in our Software SilverFast.

We have also introduced a new serial procedure with the new products. Please make sure to enter your name and first name exactly as entered during purchase incl. Capital letters. I will check on your purchase as soon as I get into the office on Monday morning because I need access to our intranet. I will keep you updated here.

Kind regards.
Jan

Invalid Serial Number

Postby Tom Wheeler » Sun Oct 10, 2004 10:26 pm

Jan,

Thank you for responding. I checked many many times to be sure that my name was typed exaclty (wth first and last names capitialized) just as it was when I had purchased DCpro Studio. I also checked many times to be sure that I had typed in the serial number (or cut and pasted it) precisely correct. The serial number still comes back invalid.

I hope someone at Silverfast can correct this on Monday. It is frustrating to have a product in demo mode that I have been charged for and not be able to unlock it.

Tom
