Dear Sirs,

What is the approximate size of the JPEG file converted from a 9.44MB RAW file?

Many thanks,

Dear T.M.

JPEG is a format with (a) customizable compression algorithm(s).
While saving an image in JPEG format you can choose whether you prefer a bigger image at better quality or a smaller filesize with reduced image quality.
Depending on your settings the resulting file size might vary.

Dear Sir,

Many thanks for your prompt reply. Yes, I did adjust the size of the print to a larger size than 6"x8" when processing the file into a JPEG one. However, the resultant sizes vary between 1.2 and 1.5MG. Please advise what is the possible largest size I can get and if it is larger than 1.5, how to do it?

Thanks again,
T.M.
