Canoscan FS-2720U

I've got one of these. It works pretty good, but the software stinks and I'd REALLY like to use it in MacOS X natively without resorting to classic.

From what I understand, this is more or less a 2710 with a USB interface.

Is there any chance to get a driver for this one? I'd sure like to get more use out of it.

It is not easy to get Canon USB scanner smoothly running on OS X, in this case without ducumantation. I don't think this scanner will make it in near futere to the list of supported Scanners.
