Canon FS4000 Demo not working

Hi all

I have downloaded the FS4000 demo to try on my SCSI connected scanner, as soon as the twain application is started the program hangs at the searching for hardware window.

My setup works fine with filmget and v**s**n.

Can anyone shead any light on this problem.

Unfortunately I can't shed any light on this but I can confirm that the demo for the photoshop link to a USB connection doesn't find the scanner either. This looks like a common problem within the software.

Just been in contact with tech support over this problem and they said that my version of silverfast was out of date and that I should download the latest version, this was odd as at the time my version was the latest.

I see today they have posted a new version but this one has not fixed the problem.

I am so glad I didn't go out and buy this software without first trying the demo.
