In Silverfast 8.8.0r13 I am unable to select a color or B&W negative film type for the Canon 9000F MK II scanner. Is this mode supported in SF? The Canon ScanGear does allow this, and while a bit cumbersome, does work. I am attempting to scan color and B&W 120 negatives that go back more than 75 years that I recently got from my mother. I have previously scanned prints of these, but am trying to get a better scan from the negative.

Re: Canon 900F MK II Negative Scanning
Dear Mr McCann,
Please make sure you first select transparency mode. The Negative option is not available while SilverFast is set to reflective.
When set to transparency you can select Negative as the film type. The NegaFix window will then open and allow you to configure your film type.
kind regards,
Arne
