SilverFast SE original from CanoScan 9000F: How much does an upgrade cost to the current SF version 8.8 SE Plus?

Hello@all,

I play with the idea to buy a used Canon CanoScan 9000F (incl. its SilverFast SE CD), and use it with Multi-Exposure (on Win10 PC).

In order to estimate what additional costs would be associated with this, and to decide whether or not I better use a different software (e.g. v**s**n) for cost reasons, I would like to know the following:
