Hello,
i have found some old MINOX negatives which i try to scan using the maximal resolution with Silverfast SE 6.6.1r5.
I have used the PRESCAN to mark the picture i want tu scan. this is 8 x 11 mm.
But the Scan stops shortly after start an gives only a smal part of the picture. I had to reduce the resolution step by step until i was able to get the whole picture.
I have figured out that the is a data-limitation to 1 MByte (TIFF).
Where is my mistake? (I am a rather Newbee in using silverfast)
PS the "normal" Scangear does not recognize these small MINOX filmstripes.. so i have to use Silverfast anymay.
Thanks

Dear customer,
do you really mean 1MB?
The file limit in SilverFast 6 is 1GB.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Yes, I meant 1 MB. But, may be, i have found the problem. It is obviously not Silverfast, it is the Combination of Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0 together with Silverfast (The SW, which was distributet together with the Canoscan).
The Problem appears if I use Siolverfast in the Mode "normal" (loading the scan into Photoshop). But if I use the Mode "normal (Datei)", which only stores the scan on the harddisk the limit does not appear. So now I use this as workaround.
