Hi,
I am new to scanning and I am not having a lot of luck with it. I would like to ask that anyone using the 9950F, if they have settings under the options button that they would share with me I would appreciate it. Especially if you are getting good scans. It seems there is just to many parameters that confuse me. I am looking at the General, Auto, and CMS tabs. (I have watched and read the help files) If I can get a good set of settings, then I will know it is my processing that needs to be improved, as of now I am not sure if it is me or bad choises in my settings. I have Ai and am planning on upgrading to Ai studio for the multi-scan capability. Thanks for any help offered. Jay

Hello jay33t,
While I don't use the same scanner, I have some of general recommendations for you to consider. One is that you purchase the SilverFast: Official Guide. It will give you a lot of information including some recommended scan settings. The other is to take a look at the documents located on this web site: http://www.silverfast.com/documentation/en.html
One other resource would be Ian Lyon's web site: http://www.computer-darkroom.com/
