downloaded software as photoshop plugin for Acer Scanwit 2720S
scans are soft (out of focus) to the point of being useless, nothing I do makes them better.
with scanner software no problem nice and sharp.

Focus problem with Acer ScanWit

We have checked the latest version and could not see any problem.
When you submit a problem, you should be more specific about:
1. What is your OS
2. What version of SilverFast
3. How much memory

It is recommended to always try with the latest version. If problems occur submit the LogFile and the Settings file (Export from Expert Dialog)

I am trying your demo, however,I also, got out of focus prescanned image. The focus button does not work. Mirascan does fine
I have:
Win xp home
Mirafotov 2012 driver
Acardv 141 (AEC-6710D Pci controller)
Acard ScSi card distributed by BenQ for this scanner( Purchased 1 month ago)
512 mgs ram
1 ghz processor
