Zoom Beyond 1:1 in SF Version 8?
I am demoing SF8 for an Epson V750. I wasn't able to zoom beyond 1:1. Is there a way to do that? Zooming closer, particularly when using SRD on reflective images and B&W in Ver 6 seemed to make it much easier to make judgments as to dust and scratch removal, especially in regards to defect size. Also, for me, I find the inability to clear a frame when I am done with a scan a little distracting. I can use the Pilot on/off method mentioned by someone but it seems to me that SF8 should just have a button that does that.

Re: Zoom Beyond 1:1 in SF Version 8?
The 1:1 preview shows the image at the currently chosen resolution.
This is the maximum image information available.
The 1:1 preview is intended to do exactly that, show the image as it will look like in the final scan.
Zooming in would require to extrapolate more information from the scan which contradicts the intended use.
In normal preview mode you can zoom in as far as the maximum scan resolution of the scanner permits.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
