I am using Epson V750 with latest version of Silverfast SE Plus 8.
Scan Dimension file type is set to JPG, the Silverfast application will only save files in TIFF format.
Why? What can I do about it?

Re: Wrong Format
Dear customer,
Please make sure that the correct file type is selected for each scan frame.
Each frame has it's own settings.
You can copy settings from one frame to the others using the frame menu or JobManager.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Re: Wrong Format
Is Job Manager included in SE8 Plus? (I don't have AI).
Is there fuller manual in PDF for SE8 Plus? (The Quick Guide only skims over batch functionality which is not helpful..)
I have found a facility under Frames to Copy all Settings to All other Frames which means I do not have to set the format on each of 24 frames

Re: Wrong Format
Dear customer,
The JobManager is only included in Ai Studio.
A manual for batch scanning can be found here.
However it is mainly for automated scanners.
For flat bed devices you simply create frames for all images on the bed.
Then set them up individually or using the copy to all frames option.
When ready you press the scan button for about a second to select batch scan from the small selection that comes up.
Afterwards the button will stay on batch-scan until you change it back.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
