Why two identical .8bf files in SF Launcher?

I've just upgraded to Silverfast Ai 6.5.5r1.

When I run Silverfast Launcher (v. 3.0.7) I am asked to choose between two plugins: both labeled Silverfast (UScan).8ba - but they are identical in the mouseover tooltip: C:\Program Files\Silverfast Application\Silverfast UScan\Silverfast (UScan).8ba

Why the repetition?

I have logged as a bug/error.

aesthetical bug indeed. Had been remedied meanwhile with latter release of SilverFast.
