Which package SE or Ai?

I'm about to purchase a Plustek negative scanner but I'm not sure if I full understand the difference between the the models. I'm interested in OpticFilm 8200 SE and OpticFilm 8200 Ai. Looking at the chart th email difference seems to be the software supplied SupperFast SE with 8200 SE and SupperFast Ai with 8200 Ai.
Could someone explain to me what is the main difference between those to packages. There seems to be big prices difference between SupperFast SE and SupperFast Ai. What extras would I get buying Ai ?

I'm on Mac and my main reason for buying this would be to transfer 1000s of old family negatives to digital media.
