Web Update does not work

Postby theo » Sat May 24, 2003 11:44 am

I had version 6.0.2r7 of HDR installed and pressed info-web update and I
got the information that I have the most recent version installed.

When I looked to the update page of www.lasersoft.de the latest
version was 6.0.2r31.

Ai for Epson reacted similar, 6.0.1r46a installed, web update, info that
I have the newest version installed. Current available version was
6.0.2r31.

It is possible you have a non-English version installed, and the version on the web that is newer is English only. Many times we offer the English updates first, and the other languages follow a few days later.

For example: If you are running the German version of SilverFast, and only the English version has been updated on the site, your web updater will not identify the update until the German version is available.

Hope this helps!

Both the current and the one which I downloaded from your Server were german versions.

And I checked on your Server (via Web browser) that a newer version was available before I pressed the Web Update button....

Re: Web Updater

There was an issue in our web script that has now been resolved. Your web updater should now function properly.

I have done a few tests with a few different versions, and the proper updates were obtained.

Thanks again,
Nick
