Very slow work of sf in the preparation of the frame to scan

Since version 8.8or3 my program works very slowly. Preparing the frame for scanning, its enlargement, reduction lasts a long time. Preparation 24 frames to scan takes a lot of time. The computer thinks long and nothing happens. Sam scanning process is fast - normal. On the program Epson scan and an older version of the sf, this problem does not occur - so the scanner is good. The computer is intel i5, 16 RAM. Where the problem lies.

Dear user,

are you using SRDx? We introduced this recently. It works more precisely when removing scratch and dust on B&W film but can take longer during the processing stage.

If that is not the case try reseting SilverFast through the welcome screen's service dialog.
Maybe some settings could not be updated correctly.
