Undo in JobManager Edit mode

Postby eparth » Sat Nov 13, 2004 2:05 pm

I am using AI(LS2000) 6 and DC-VLT 6, latetst german version from Nov. 2004. In both programs:
When I am in Job Manager and edit paramters (e.g set a grey point), undo via Ctrl-Z does not work. (however it does work in normal Scan Mode).

Is this "normal" behaviour ?

Dear Ernst

CTRL-Z / CMD-Z should work in the JobManager's edit mode until either of the two things happen:

(1) You are leaving the edit mode.
(2) You select another picture to edit.

In both cases you will be asked if your changed parameters shall be saved. On confirmation you prior picture settings (for that image) are overwritten. Changes become permanent then.

Kind regards

Thanks Sonny,

I am using
Silverfast Ai 6.2.3r3 nikon LS2000 German version
Windows Xp SP1, German

When I am in editing mode (and neither of Your 2 scenarios happen):
When i press down Ctrl key (Strg on my german keyboard) the darkest-points are marked on screen and any further keypresses are ignored.
So Ctrl-Z does not work here.

One more thing I found:
It suffices to have open the Job Manager Window to make Ctrl-Z non-working.
I do:
insert a negative strip. Do a prescan, Set a grey point - Ctrl-Z works.
Now I open the job Manager, I do not go into Edit Mode in job Manager ! (even do not add a frame to the Job)
Now I set again the grey point in my preview - an now Ctrl-Z does no longer work.

Dear Ernst,

the problem you found was indeed a bug in SilverFast. It will be fixed in version 6.2.3r7.

Best regards
Ralf
