After using Silverfast 6 AI with Nikon 5000 and Kodachrome slides I encountered that especially slides with a dark background do not deliver the full range of details.
Scanning the web pages I found out, that multi exposure should be applied, which is unfortunately not included in AI however in the Studio version.
To be sure, that this is the reason for the not good scans I downloaded the Studio - Trial software and was somewhat surprised, that it still offers only the AI even after complete deinstallation of the already installed AI software. Having a closer look at the download I saw that the downloaded file for AI-Test and Studio-Test are the same.
Is this correct? And what do I have to do to get the Studio test version alive?
Kind Regards
Wolfgang

Re: Test versions
Dear Wolfgang
yes this is correct MultiExposure is only available in Ai Studio.
To test the Studio version you need to use the service menu from the launcher (tool symbol next to launch-button) and delete the serial number.
This will reset SilverFast to test-mode and allows it to be launched as an Ai Studio demo.
kind regards
