Slow PC during scan operation
Hello !
I have used silverfast SE almost two years and all the time i have had the same problem. During the scanning operation my computer slow dramatically. It takes almost 1 minute to write 10 letters to internet explorers google textbox or rename files in filemanager. I can´t open desktop view or change programwindows or it takes a lot of time to change them. Then at the same time i can write text normally in Microsoft Word ??? I´m using the latert version of silverfast anf scanning with Plustek Opticfilm 7600i. Does anyone have the same problem or is there somekind of solution to this problem.

Re: Slow PC during scan operation
Dear customer,
Many operations in SilverFast are extremely load intensive and take a lot of system-resources.
Therefor it is advised not to use other software during it's operation.
Especially other memory and file-system intensive applications.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn

Re: Slow PC during scan operation
Thanks for your reply. OK. I understand that. There is never enough memory (anywhere).
But what I don´t understand is that how it´s possible that for example Microsoft Word works normally during scanning operation or that I can play Windows card games normally, but I can´t reverse a card move back to it´s origin with out waiting 30 secs - 1 min. I hope you undestand what I mean ???
