Slow Download / Low Server Performance?

Good evening everybody!

While downloading the newest update of SF 6.5 and the respective Tutorial Installer (WinMovAIStdDE.exe) I experienced a very low transmission speed. A check performed with some other sites confirmed that it was not my DSL line that was suffering from low performance.

Trying again and again several times this evening, I found myself encountering the same slow line again, so that the problem may persist on LaserSoft, I'm afraid.

78,8 MB are a hell of data, if you must live with a download speed of 25 KB/sec or less. Please, speed up your machines.

We have often test our lines between us and our american servers and ISP. This tests shows, that we have no performance problems with our servers or lines.
You can try at commandline (or with other tools):
