I have been using Silverfast at work for several years with my company's Epson 11000XL with no problem. Today the power went out briefly and my computer shut down without warning. Now when I try to start up Silverfast, it says "There was a problem starting your scanner. Please make sure your drivers are installed correctly. You can not use this scanner right now..."
I have tried re-installing everything - all Epson software, drivers, and Silverfast - and it still does not work. The scanner shows up in the Device Manager (using Windows 10) and I can still scan with the Epson Scan utility, but Silverfast refuses to recognize it.
Please advise. I use the scanner multiple times every day and need it to be working ASAP.

Dear customer,
Please reset SilverFast through the Welcome screen's service dialog.
The settings files probably got damaged.
