SilverFast 6Ai problems w/Epson Perfection Photo 2450

Greetings everyone:

I have a Epson Perfection Photo 2450 scanner and while SilverFast 5.5SE
works fine with the scanner. SilverFast 6Ai was working but suddenly the
Scan RGB button has the text in grey color instead of black so when I click it, nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it still
doesn't work, anyone knows how to fix this? Thanks.

This sounds as if you would have a demo version of SilverFast which have a time limit, so we make sure customers do not use outdate versions that might not have the latest fixes and enhanced functions.
Please download the latest one from our website and try again. Otherwise call or email our support with you SilverFast LogFile.

Thanks for the reply. Are there any functional differences between the demo and the purchased versions? Also, how long does each demo work? Thanks.
