Hello
I am working with SF 6.4.2r5d (SF-6-Launcher), Mac G3 MiniTower, MacOS 6.2.2, Microtek ScanMaker 9800XL (SCSI interface), Apple LaserWriter 12/640 PS.
Printing with the button in the precan window runs correct till the last step (printer dialog in front, SF in background). Pressing the last ?OK? in the printer dialog leads always to a SF cash.
The printer's system extension is D2-8.7.1. The printer is part of the Ethernet network.
Does anyone have an idea?
Many thanks in advance.
Yours,
Norbert

Dear Norbert.
No ideas so far. Your problem requires a closer analysis because there are quite some parameters involved. There is some confusing info in your post, i.e. MacOS 6.2.2, which is probably 9.2.2, is it ? I suggest you send a support request to support@silverfast.com and open a ticket. Please also include the SF_logfile for analysis.
Please refer to the FAQs on how to find the SF_logfile http://www.silverfast.com/faq/1058/en.html%22%22

Dear Jan
I bag your pardon, you are right. The six is an overseen type error. It is MacOS 9.2.2 indeed.
Before I tried to start discussing some problems here I have written to http://www.silverfast.com/problemreport/en.html. No reply.
Yesterday, in the morning, I wrote to http://www.silverfast.com/problemreport/en.html. No reply.

Dear JAN
Many thanks for helping me.
I have uploaded the following printer job files sent to my Apple LaserWriter 12/640 PS by SilverFast's printing button:
? 1 Bit Strich
? 16 -> 8 Bit Graustufen
How I did it?
1st attempt:
I printed the page to see the result.
2nd attempt:
I have ?stolen? the file out of the printer window before printing, renamed it with regard to the scan made, and uploaded it to you.
Yours,
Norbert
