Hello All,
I'm in the market for a used Howtek 4500 and plan on running this on a mac with Silverfast HDR. I have an old 9600 with a G3 card in it that might be fine for this running OS9. Is there any advantage to using a newer machine under OS X? Is it true that the G4's G5's and OS X don't play nice with SCSI?
Pro's? Con's?
Thanks,
Chris
Setup Suggestions?

Dear Chris
problem's rather OSX 10.3/10.4 than G3/G4, although for a G5 you'll need a PCI-X compatible SCSI controller card.
