scanning odd sixe negatives

I love my new scanner but when I attempted to scan an old 5X7 negative, the liitle tabs which come with tha scanner sis not hold the negative, it slipped the scan was no good and the negative came off the glass holder. I had to have my daughter reach in and pull out the neg with her thin fingers..the little tabs did not hold the neg...I guess this isn't a SILVER FAST problem but more of a problem for MICROTEK.....anyone out there have the same problem?? thanks BILL

indeed I suggest you want to contact Microtek's tech support concerning this issue swiftly. Perhaps they can and wish to offer a replacement. In general I found it is best to complain pretty soon after a given purchase.
