I am having a problem. I have an image I scanned previously and will not remove itself from the scanning window. Thus whatever I try to preview has that unwanted image with what I am trying to do. Is there a file where images are kept? I have no idea what to do to get rid of this annoyance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
J Mahon

Dear Mr Mahon
please delete the previews folder (while SF isn't running).
On a typical Windows 2000/XP installation:
C: \ Documents and Settings \ (your username) \ Application Data \ Lasersoft Imaging \ SilverFast \
If you haven't yet changed the standard setting of the Windows Explorer you won't see any folder "Application Data". You then want to open the folder options dialogue (from "Extras" the menu) and go to the "View" tab. There you can enable the Explorer to show you hidden and system files and folders as well as displaying the contents of system folders.
On a typical Mac OS X installation:
/ User / (your username) / Library / Preferences / LaserSoft Imaging / SilverFast /
Best regards
