Scan Failure

Good evening,
I have just updated to the lastest version today.
Now, when attempting a scan, the process reaches 9% exactly (every time,) then finishes with the description 'cancelled'. No matter if a negative or a slide.
The PC has been restarted, as has the scanner and no matter what, the scan fails at exactly the same point.

The system is Windows 7 (64bit) with a Plustek Opticfilm 7600i which has run with no previous problems.

Any suggestions?

Dear customer,

Please disable the Quickscan Utility in the task bar.
You can also remove it from the autostart if you do not want to disable it every time you start SilverFast.

That's fixed it, than you.
However why did this only happen after the latest upgrade, as never had the problem previously.
