saving as raw files in silverfast se

Hi,
I received silverfast se bundled with an espon v700 scanner. I can't see anyway
that i can scan and save as a raw file. Does that mean I have to upgrade?

Dear martinson1350,

You do have the possibility of creating raw files with your SilverFast SE version. You just have to select the 48 bit HDR mode and save your files as tiff.

thanks for the advice- another problems - i've saved as tiff but can't see the files when I try to import into aperture
