sale of scanner

Postby jmilich » Mon Mar 16, 2009 6:28 pm

i am currently running version 6 for a minolta dimage 5400II scanner.
I am selling the scanner and would also like to include the silverfast software with the sale.

how do i do this so the buyer has a license?

alternatively, i am replacing the minoltascanner with a Nikon ED9000; is it possible for me to exchange my minolta version of silverfast for the nikon version instead of selling my minolta version?

thanks

Dear jmilich,

If you want to sell your SilverFast license you can do this without any problem.
You only have to give the serial to the new owner and remove the SilverFast software from your computer.
If your Serial is registered with us please inform our support team using our support assistant.
We will then delete your registration so the new owner can register for updates.

If you want to keep your license you can use it for a crossgrade in our shop.
Just select your Minolta Scanner as if you wanted to buy a version for it.
Press the link in the yellow box and enter your serial.
A second set of scanner data will appear.
This will allow you to select the Nikon scanner and the reduced price for the Nikon Version will be shown.

kind regards
Arne Ketelhohn.

It is hard to say without any further information.
But the information we require should not be posted in a forum.
Could you please contact our sales department using the support assistant.
They will help you with any further questions.

kind regards
Arne Ketelhohn
